At Ísheimar, Samskip operates technologically advanced cold and frozen storage facilities for both small and large shipments. The facilities are designed for frozen goods and feature both racking systems and block stacking, with a total capacity of up to 6,500 tonnes / 6,500 pallets. The setup is suitable for both regular shipments and full loads.

Flexible handling and high throughput
Ísheimar features a high-capacity handling area that ensures efficient reception and dispatch. The facility can process up to 10 containers or trucks simultaneously, and also offers multiple container plug-in points for storage in refrigerated and frozen containers. The total handling area is 1,000 m², including 500 m² of service space for sampling, inspection, and specialized services.
