Recognitions and Certifications
Samskip in Iceland began measuring its sustainability performance with EcoVadis in 2020 and initially received a Silver rating. In 2023 and 2024, Samskip in Iceland achieved a Gold rating, which represents the second-highest level in the EcoVadis assessment system.
EcoVadis provides a comprehensive sustainability rating service for companies, covering a wide range of non-financial management systems, including environmental practices, labor and human rights, business ethics, and sustainable procurement impacts. The certification helps companies improve their sustainability performance, strengthen their reputation, and demonstrate their commitment to responsible business practices.
