Trawler Landings at Ísheimar

Samskip offers comprehensive services for pelagic vessels and freezer trawlers, including landing, transport and storage, all in one place. With efficient services and coordinated operations, we ensure a smooth and secure flow of cargo.

We emphasize speed, flexibility and efficient operations. The facility is one of the most powerful landing sites in the country, capable of handling two vessels simultaneously at Vogabakki. The quay is 200 meters long with a depth of 8.5 meters, ensuring good access and efficient unloading.

Controlled and Secure Area
The cold storage facility is located directly adjacent to the quay, allowing catch to be landed directly into the building. Sorting of the catch takes place in a spacious, enclosed landing area where quality and hygiene are ensured. Facilities for sampling and inspections are available on site.
